I have lived in the village for fifteen years but have been visiting here since I was a child which is far longer ago than I care to remember. It is an ideal place for me to pursue my hobbies of walking, photography and bird watching and it has the best sunsets I have seen anywhere in the World.

I am an avid reader and strongly believe that the greatest gift any child can receive is to teach them to enjoy reading. This led me to become involved with the school in 2023 when I volunteered to help those children whose education was impacted by the Covid pandemic with their reading. I continue to do this and am delighted to see how well they progress
over the years.

During my time in the school I realised how special the school is and how important it is to the village. I was therefore delighted when an opportunity arose to become a governor so hopefully I can use my forty plus years experience in the Chemical and Oil Industry and bringing up three daughters to help the school go from strength to strength.
